A group of 16- to 18-year-old friends is spending a weekend in the holiday home of their parents. The film starts in daylight and merges into the darkness of an excessive and scattered night while we accompany six characters in its profit from knowledge and the experience of incomprehension and uncertainty.

Paul Spengemann

Paul Spengemann (*1987) studied film at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg and at Goldsmiths, University of London. In 2017 he was awarded the Federal Prize for Art Students, the ART COLOGNE Award for NEW POSITIONS and in 2018 the Columbus Prize of the ADKV. His work has been shown worldwide in various exhibitions and at film festivals, including LOOP Barcelona, São Paulo International Short Film Festival, Goethe-Institut Mexico City, Wiener Art Foundation, SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT, Dortmunder Kunstverein e.V., Hamburger Kunsthalle and 66th Berlin International Film Festival.
