A group of young people in Kigali meet at the home of their deceased friend for a wake. Though he died at a young age, he had led a singular life in a conformist society. They spend the evening in remembrance of him and his creative legacy, reflecting on their own life paths.

Mbabazi Sharangabo Philbert Aimé
Mbabazi Sharangabo Philbert Aimé is a graduate of the film department at Geneva University of Art and Design. His short film I Got My Things And Left won the Grand Prize in Oberhausen in 2019. He is an alumnus of the Locarno Filmmakers Academy and Berlinale Talents and is currently developing two feature films. He runs the Imitana Audiovisual Center, a space for the vibrant young filmmaking scene in Kigali.
