This story bring us to Amelia's teenage years. She have been wearing a back brace for four years, and now is going to be removed, she would finally be able to wear trousers or go to the end-of-school trip. But the doctors bring bad news, she must keep wearing it. Winds of Spring relate, in a poetic way, the first step of an acceptance, the most important of all: one's own.
This film is part of a cooperation with ECAM, the Madrid Film School.

Carmen Pedrero
Carmen Pedrero has just graduated in Film Directing at ECAM (Escuela de Cinematográfica y Audiovisual de Madrid). During her time at ECAM, she has directed different short films. The last one, "Wind of spring", which shows a fragment of her adolescence, it's her greatest job to date. Carmen is oriented towards an auteur cinema of a poetic nature, starting from personal stories and memories; she is also very interested in the video poem. Most recently, she has co-directed "In my craft or my shadowy art", an expanded piece of poetry for International Dylan Day.
