Miguel Guindos
Miguel Guindos studies the Filmmaking course in ECAM between 2018-2021.
As he takes up the course, he does several commissioned pieces and by himself, the most notable being In my Craft or Sullen Art (2021), an international work-for-hire expanded poetry film for the Dylan Day Festival, a tribute to the welsh poet Dylan Thomas.
His themes shakes the youth universe, generally with a strong notion of class and genre. He intensely dialogues the worlds of Instagram, trap music, popping dance, skateboarding, parkour with the universes of Hemingway, Stevenson, Fitzgerald or Carver. The most cutting edge postmodernism framed within the literary modern thinking.
