Fernando is a gallery attendant in an ancient museum of fine arts in Madrid. One day he discovers his favorite painting is missing from its usual place. Worried to know its whereabouts, on his search he meets María, a bright restorer who has just arrived at the museum to work on the "missing" canvas.
This film is part of a cooperation with ECAM, the Madrid Film School.

Lorenzo Pascasio Molinero
Lorenzo Pascasio (1990) was born in Cáceres and has been living in Madrid for twelve years. Still fascinated by the city he tries to understand and to portray it. Graduated in Film Directing at the Escuela de Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de Madrid (ECAM), where he confirms his vocation and directs short films. The gates of paradise (2020) is his first professional short film. Apart from cinema, he is dedicated to photography and literature. He works for various journals writing film reviews. Currently, he is studying acting.
