Using the very basic elements of the animated film, yet twisting and distorting them in a surprising way, this film creates a mental landscape where anxiety, self-doubt and grim humour reign. The accuracy of this image allows the film to expand from the very personal into something that we all can recognize. The best animation prize is given to I Know You by Gudrun Krebitz. Gudrun Krebitz
Gudrun Krebitz is an artist and filmmaker whose work focuses on experimental animation, installation and single image drawing. Her drawing practice generates autonomous work and often provides the basis for her films. She graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 2015 and studied Animation at the University of Film and Television in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Krebitz was born in Graz and currently lives and works in Berlin.
