Shalimar Preuss studied Art and Film in the US and in France, notably at Le Fresnoy, National Studio for Contemporary Arts. Étrange dit l’ange is her most recent project after her first feature: Ma Belle Gosse (2013) and a number of short films : Rendezvous à Stella-Plage (2009), L'escale (2007), Seul à seul (2005). Her films have been seen in festivals across the world such as: Rotterdam, Sarajevo, Rio de Janeiro, Lisbon, Clermont-Ferrand.
