December 21 is the shortest day of the year and is celebrated worldwide with numerous short film festivities. For this occasion, we are delighted to present some short film favorites from the participating festivals. The films will remain online from December 20, 2024 until January 20, 2025 and can be celebrated more than once, since December 28 is another occasion to honor the short film form: National Short Film Day enjoys special significance in the USA, as this day in 1895 is considered the birth of cinema with the first ever film screening in France.
