On April 25, 1974, a group of young captains carried out a coup d'état that, in less than 24 hours, overthrew the dictatorship that had dominated Portugal for four decades. A peaceful revolution that became known as the Carnation Revolution. We're joining the celebration of the 50th anniversary of 25 April with a special program of 5 films about the revolution.
